26 leaves, handwritten in brown ink on rectos only, with occasional notes in the same hand on the versos; plus blank leaves at front and rear. 19x14 cm. (7½x5½"), period mottled calf.

17th century manuscript of a work on Descartes, written in Latin in an English italic hand. There are occasional insertions and deletions. The title with contemporary scribbling in English is written on a front flyleaf. We have been unable to trace a published text of this work - quite possibly it is unpublished.
