Second edition of the famed Estienne Bible, bound in three volumes. Oddly, Folio 211 (D3) ends at a word break, with a paragraph continued in manuscript on a leaf numbered 212, concluding the first volume; however, the second volume begins with Folio 212 (D4), “Prologus B. Hieronymi in psalterium…” Adams B1011; Renouard 35.1; D & M 6112.
