Includes: fold-out brochure titled "Davis - Three-Wheel Engineering Triumph" with the car on the front panel in which are riding "Four Starts of Tomorrow in the Car of Tomorrow." * Smaller four-page brochure describing the car, featuring a 60-hp Hercules engine which could propel it "100 miles and hour or more" and get 35 to 50 miles a gallon (take that, Prius). * Flyer put out by authorized Davis dealer Green and Odell, of Long Beach, Cal., with envelope.

Rare ephemera of the even more rare three-wheeled vehicle created by Gary Davis. Wonderfully innovative, the car was not a commercial success, and only about 17 of the vehicles were produced. Despite its abbreviated existence, the Davis has gained something of a cult following.
