Includes 3 handwritten letters of 1-2 pp., one single page typescript letter with a pencil drawing attached, 1 retained carbon of a 4 pp. letter on a folded sheet, and a hand drawn map in black ink of a mining claim near Cook Inlet, Anchorage Alaska.

The typescript letter is dated San Francisco, April 14, 1898 and is an agreement between the California Yukon Mining and Commercial Association and The Fresno Mining Co. of Alaska to sell the "Big Bug" mining claim in Alaska to the latter. The other letters deal with similar subject matter, some of which are addressed from Sunrise Alaska to an R.E.Bush, a U.C. Berkeley Grad. in 1886 or 1887, Son of C.F. Young, U.C. Berkeley Grad. Medical Doctor, WCTU, Temperance.
