Score card from Mexico City Country Club in Churubusco, D.F. When unfolded, measures 8.7x19.5 cm. (3½x7½"). Filled out in Al Espinosa's hand, and dated Dec 21, 1934.

Signed at the bottom of score card by Al Espinosa and 4 others (those he was golfing with?). In December 1934, Espinosa, golfing with former President of Mexico Abelardo Rodriguez (although not apparently signed by him) at the Mexico City Country Club, broke the world's record for 6800 yards, by golfing a 63: 31 out, and 32 in. The score card, filled out in Espinosa's hand, neatly records the score of each hole. Unsure where the discrepancy of the date comes from, but the April, 1935 article in American Golfer, states that Espinosa broke the world's record for 18 holes at 6800 yards on December 23, 1934. Provenance: From the family of Al Espinosa.
