134, [2] + 16 (blank memoranda pages) + [4] ad pp. Illustrated with 5 lithographed plates, including a chromolithograph frontispiece portrait of Tom Morris from a drawing by Thomas Hodge at St. Andrews, with tissue-guard, other 4 are duo-tone; plus several wood engravings throughout the text by Ranald M. Alexander. 18x12 cm. First Edition.

Signed by Tom Morris on the frontispiece illustration of himself. Anything signed by Morris is incredibly rare and difficult to come by, especially in an important work of golf such as this. According to Murdoch, this book is actually a lineal descendant of Robert Chambers' A Few Rambling Remarks on Golf, but the changes and enlargement of this edition were enough to merit a change in title and its own bibliographical listing.
