Signed by Charles Bukowski in silver ink, dated 5-19-63, on the front free endpaper. Additionally inscribed in October of 1963 by the books publishers, Lou and Jon Webb to Barbara Clancy Reid, founder of the venue that was to become Preservation Hall. Below is a second inscription by Gypsy Lou Webb, to a different recipient dated November 2009. Considered by many to be Bukowski's most beautifully produced book.
