11 sheets, comprising PP. 445-455 and 844-852 (one or two pages per sheet, printed on one side only), being chapters I-V and IX-XII. Sheets 25.5x35.5 cm (10x14"), loose in modern cloth portfolio.

One of two sets of stone proofs deposited with the Library of Congress, with both accession and deaccession rubberstamps. BAL11894 describes these proofs as "Stone proofs of the first two installments as published in Everbody's Magazine (New York), pp. 445-455, 844-852, were deposited on, respectively, Aug. 22, 1906; Oct. 9, 1906; in LC." He errors only in noting them as the first and second installments, whereas they are the first and third, put the pagination, dates of reception, etc., match the present set. A very rare and desirable item. Last sold PBA Galleries, May 20, 1993, Library of Laird McNeel.
