14 typed sheets, all but one on yellow paper, a few holograph corrections within in pencil. Accompanied by a typed postcard, signed, and a typed letter, signed. Both regarding the typescript. In a brown folder, with Bradbury's address label affixed.

An unpublished story, written when Bradbury was 29. The typescript is signed by Bradbury in pencil on the first leaf. The accompanying correspondence, both addressed to a Chris Gough, the postcard asking Gough to send him the manuscript so he can identify it and the letter, written after his receiving the manuscript, declaring: "I have a copy in my files under another title...Noon Country is a nice bit of material as a curiosity, but not good enough to submit or be published by anyone, anywhere, at anytime, amateur or professional...This is a very very young story, written when I was 29 years old. It deserves to remain unread and unnoticed by the world."
