A superb history of the press, the most innovative piece of which is the folding type specimen which is almost 7 feet long when unfurled, surely the longest single type specimen ever printed. Published at $400 and sold out immediately. Bibliographies of private presses tend to be their most popular books especially when (as in so many from Daniel and Ashendene on) they include specimens of the various books.
