Broadside, printed on one side only. 40.3x22.8 cm. (15¾x9").

Broadside advertising lectures and other programs featuring the Steropticon, a dual-lens slide projector whereby photographic images could be projected onto a screen for public viewing, the two lenses allowing images to dissolve one to another, creating an excellent platform for "visual storytelling." They are not to be confused with the stereoscope or stereo viewer, which allows users to view three-dimensional images. The lecture and programs advertised in the present  broadside include  Rambles in foreign lands; Cosmopolitan wanderings; A glance at the beauties of nature and art, and others. OCLC/WorldCat lists only two examples, both at the American Antiquarian Society, one dated 1862, the other 1863, both listing John Fallon as the proprietor of the lecture program. There is no date on the present example, and no mention of John Fallon.
