Albumen cdv portraits of Lincoln (a vignette view, captioned but with no photographer's imprint); Grant (not captioned, with imprint of N.A. Mills, Dubuque, on reverse); and a Lincoln and his family in a parlor (captioned but with no photographer's imprint, and worn & soiled). Also, there are two European cdv's of military men added to the lot. All together, 5 cartes-de-visite.

The most appealing of the portraits is undoubtedly that of Grant, in uniform, rather jauntily facing the camera.
