Approx. 53 leaves, with over 300 original photographs (ranging from a few cabinet cards to numerous snap shots), plus birth cirtificates, diplomas, varsity letters, prom programs, newspaper clippings, and other ephemera, recording a half-century in a family's life, nearly all of the photographs neatly captioned in ink on the album leaves. 13¼x10, front cover detached, rear cover lacking.
Poignent slice of life of a Northern California family during the first half of the twentieth century, recording the births, deaths, vacations, loves, successes, schooling, and other aspects. Evidently compiled by Dora Wilkins, nee Patton, who married Don Wilkins, Sacramento High basketball hero and Navy veteran, who was present at Pearl Harbor. Included is a 4-page manuscript account of Don's navy experiences, apparently written by Dora from Don's dictation.
