Presentation copy inscribed by Burroughs on the front free endpaper, "To Jack Strong, with congratulations on his remarkable Tarzan exploit and best wishes from Edgar Rice Burroughs, Tarzana Ranch, Aug. 16, 1926." This British edition is actually shorter than the American book publication, matching the magazine appearance, in which the character of Esteban Miranda is completely eliminated from the story (a factor which Heins says weakens the ending). Also, there is a hyphen between Ant and Men in the title. The facsimile of the jacket is actually from the 1952 edition, with price at 7s 6d. Heins T11.7.
