xiv, 582 pp. Illus. with photo plates & maps. Cloth. First British Edition. Accompanied by signed photograph of Eisenhower.

The photograph portrait of Eisenhower, in the uniform of a five-star general in the United States Army, is signed by him "Dwight D. Eisenhower" in the lower margin. The publisher's announcement/order form is laid in loose.

Condition:

The photograph has a few faint creases in upper left portion, the "Dwight" portion of the signature is slightly smeared; the volume has some shelf wear, else very good.
