Heraldic device on the title page is from the early fourteenth century. 13x9¼, ¼ sheep, oatmeal buckram boards, spine lettered in gilt, issued acetate cover. Copy No. 1 of 165 hand-numbered copies printed by Graham Mackintosh and bound by Jack Gray.

Signed by Everson as Brother Antoninus in colophon. Inscribed on front free endpaper by Everson, "This the first copy of The Last Crusade is for my beloved new wife Susana [Rickson] in whose hands I place my life, December 30, 1969, William Everson." Bartlett & Campo A33.

Condition:

Light shelf wear; musty smell, slight foxing to endpapers; else very good or better.
