One of the rarest of all Beatles programs, as many were destroyed by disillusioned fans following the Beatles alleged snubbing of Imelda Marcos, and their chaotic departure from Manila. The Beatles had been invited to join the President and Imelda Marcos, and their three children, at the Malacanang Palace at 11 a.m. on the day of the concert. The Beatles claimed they knew nothing of the 11 o'clock invitation, hearing only of a request for a short "pop-in" at the palace at 4:00 p.m. This they declined, since their first show started a 4. The Marcos were angered at being neglected, and the next day the Manila Times ran the headline "Imelda Stood Up!!" The Philippine promoter of the show refused to pay the Beatles for their performance, and bomb threats were phoned in to the British embassy and the Beatles hotel suite. When they arrived at the airport to leave, all security was revoked, and an angry mob of Filipinos set upon the mopheads. Ringo was floored by an uppercut, and sprained his ankle as well. The program itself contains short biographies of the Fab Four, pictures of them at work and play, words to the songs they were to perform, etc.
