Inscribed by Ciardi "For Gil [Gallagher] - in old friendship and glad of it, John" on title-page. Each of the 26 poems are signed in ink by Ciardi at the end and each of the lithographs are signed in pencil by the artist. The lithographs were printed by the "Il Torcoliere" workshop in Rome. There were 15 additional suites Hors de Commerce. Includes two publisher announcements (one folded and inscribed by Ciardi) with a poem and illustration.
