The globes are: Globe Terrestre dresseé par L. Spies d'apres l'invention de A. Weinling & Cie. Strasbourg: Marin & Schmidt, 1850. * Newton's Improved Pocket Celestial Globe. [London: c.1840]. Each with the gores lithographed, the first color (perhaps hand-colored?). Each approx. 70 mm. (2¾") in diameter, set contemporary circular wooden cases with domed tops.

Charming pair of little globes, not created as a set, but they are the same size, and of similar vintage and presentation.
