Early edition of this work on mnemonics, first published in 1730. "About a hundred years ago the only work on memory supposed to possess any great merit was [this] curious little work written by Dr. Grey...Grey was most profuse in details, and with Latin scholars it was for a time very popular" (All About Mnemonics, A.E. Middleton, 1885). The content is a tabulation of important facts with their mnemonics and the method for using them--very entertaining.
