Gelatin silver photograph. 6¼x9¼, corner-mounted, framed under plexiglass.

Signed by the photographer on the reverse (on information from the owner/not examined out of frame). A book lies open on a window sill - likely that of a train. Guibert, who died of AIDS in 1991 at age 36, was a best-selling French writer, journalist and photographic artist.
