Illustrated by nine color photographs reproduced by collotype, including frontispiece, and one large folding map in rear pocket. 8¼x5¾, gray wrappers with printed paper label. Total of 150 copies were printed, of which 100 copies are in wrappers and 50 in full calf.

"No salmon fisherman visits Anticosti without coming under its romantic spell" (foreword). Presumably this is the first edition in English, Schmitt's narrative was originally published in Paris in 1904. This copy with the contemporary ownership inscription of H.B. Tanner.
