Presentation copy, inscribed and signed by the author on a leaf affixed on the front pastedown: "To Wheaton Hale Brewer, With the cordial regards & good wishes of, George Wharton James." Bookplate from the library of Wheaton Hale Brewer. Provenance: From the library of William Augustus Brewer.

Condition:

Joints and extremities a bit rubbed, light rubbing to upper portion of front cover gilt; occasional darkening spots; else very good.
