25 original black and white photographs by Robert Goodall, measuring 3½"x4¾" (including margins). Includes mostly exterior views and some construction, plus photos of workers and others, including a photo of Frank Lloyd Wright walking through the front yard and Wright with a young girl who is on a pony.

Most of the photographs are that of the famous "Hollyhock House," which was built between 1919 and 1921 for the oil heiress Aline Barnsdall, and was Frank Lloyd Wright’s first project in Los Angeles. In 1927, Aline Barnsdall donated the Hollyhock House and eleven surrounding acres to the City of Los Angeles for use as a public art park. Also, includes photographs of Alice Millard House, or "La Miniatura" in Pasadena, CA, and was the first concrete textile-block construction house by Wright.
