Two original signed checks drawn on Burroughs' Citizen's National Bank account: one is made out to a Lenora Jones(?), for $35.00, dated Aug. 2, 1938 (by hand); and the other is made out to Donald Reed, for $25.00, dated Dec. 5, 1946 (rubberstamped). Each with perforated cancellations and rubberstamps.

Burroughs' signature is quite clear in each case, signing "E.R. Burroughs." There is no indication of what the checks were payments for. Each are endorsed on the back.
