The first, for the Carson Hill Mother Lode Mines Company, contains approx. 200 engraved stock certificates first issued around 1916, which had been canceled and replaced with new certificates in the early 1930's, glued back into the book from which they were originally issued. Each signed by C. E. Mack, President, and Geo. S. Green, Secretary. The second, for the apparent successor company, the Carson Hill Gold Mining Corporation, contains approx. 200 engraved stock certificates, issued around 1933, which had been canceled about a year later, glued back into the book from which they were originally issued. Each signed by Charles H. Segerstrom, President, and Lewis H. Bach, Secretary. Together, two stock books, each approx. 8¾x13, half leather & cloth.
Accompanying the stock books are ten photographs, probably from the 1950's, of the mine - 8 are 3½x5, 2 are panoramas, 3¾x11¾.
