Attractive atlas containing numerous lithographed views of several local businesses, farms, residences, monuments, animals, portraits, etc. The Genesee County, NY, maps show the different railroad lines and stations (including New York Central, Erie, Canandaigua & Niagara Falls Branch R.R.’s), the Reservation of the Tonawanda Band of the Seneca Nation of Indians (with the Indian Manual Labor School), several residences, businesses (lumber yards, mills, farms, etc.), government buildings, post offices, schools, churches, cemeteries, streets, parks, rivers (including Oatka River and Tonawanda Creek), etc. Double-page maps include: United States; New York; 3 of Batavia; Le Roy Village; and the Town of Alabama. The double-page lithograph view is of the New York State Institution for the Blind. Steel-engraved portraits of the Hon. Benjamin Pringle, Hon. Heman J. Redfield, and Dean Richmond.

Spine worn, ends and extremities frayed, soiling, small stains to covers; binding shaken, hinges loose, light foxing throughout, a few scattered tears to edges, 2 text leaves in rear detached, maps and illustrations still fairly clean and very good, in a good binding.
