Inscribed and signed by Edward Abbey on the front free endpaper "for Wendy & Laurie - good luck forever! Ed Abbey, Salt Lake, January 1988." Includes the previously deleted chapter "Seldom Seen at Home," published here for the first time.

Condition:

Very light edge wear and soiling to jacket, 3" fading spot to lower rear panel from old sticker, faint dampstain to right front panel margin; couple small bumps and rub marks to volume edges; still a near fine copy in a very good or better jacket.
