1-page manuscript, apparently addressed to Joseph Willicombe. Written in pencil on the verso of an original photograph of Hearst with Princess Faustino.

Hearst described his impressions of the Princess, "I like her because she is just as American as she ever was, and likes Americans and is bright and full of enthusiasm at seventy one." Hearst also speaks warmly of Marion Davies' abilities as a fundraiser at one of the Princess's charity events: "...the way Marion took money away from these Italians selling champagne for the Princess was something awful. The Princess said she never made so much before." Sold with a typed anecdote about the Princess, according to Dunlap from the typewriter of Joseph Willicombe. From the Collection of John F. Dunlap.
