An interesting and scarce reference on the canticles, hymns and the catechism in the Tinneh language, which is native to Alaska. Arnold Schoenberg wrote of the author: "Jette, probably the greatest language genius in...[Jesuit] province history, not only learned to speak it better than any native, but he produced a small library of works in it: grammars, translations of the Bible, Ten'a mythology...." Not in Wickersham.
