Peder Sather Brugiere (1874-1967) was a landscape painter and photographer in San Francisco, active between the wars. The brother of the famous photographer, Francis Brugiere, Peder was a physician who painted in his leisure. Many of his paintings were unsigned or stamped with his signature. Lovely image of San Francisco, with 1920's automobiles precariously parked on the hills.
