Three albumen prints, each about 8x10 on original 12½x9½ mounts. Each mount captioned in manuscript. Captions are: "The Temple called Pharoah's Bed...near the Nubian boundary"; "Temple of Luxor. Egypt"; and "Temple of Karnak. Two columns with gate".

Felice Beato was active since the 1850's; best-known for his collaboration travel views with James Robertson. He also photographed war scenes in India and China. Two of the prints are signed "A. Beato" in the image, the one of Karnak is unsigned (but apparently from the same series).
