Watercolor and mixed media painting on paper, 12x18 (image size 8¾x12). Signed by the artist in the image, "Teague".

Mark Teague moved from San Diego to Brooklyn and mysteriously, without any formal art training, discovered his inner illustrator. He has since illustrated more than 30 picture books, many of which he also wrote. This original artwork was for a double-page illustration in Cynthia Rylant's Poppleton series for beginning readers. A few publisher's notes in the margins.
