Charming little miniature atlas, with a double-hemisphere map of the world, a planisphere of the heavens, maps of Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas. Also, the various countries and regions of Europe, including the British Isles, Spain, France, Italy, Germanic countries, Russia, Hungary, Poland, etc. Though likely not original, the coloring appears contemporary. Lacking three maps - Germania Inferior; Bohemia, Moravia, Lustat, Silesia; and Bohemia Regnum. With blindstamp of Natalie Kiliani to the front free endpaper; she was the great-granddaughter of Bayard Taylor, the American man of letters and famous traveler. Also on the front endpaper, an earlier ownership signature, D.A. Giorgetti.
