Not listed in the Library of Congress catalogue. Possibly the second Asian-American cookbook after the 1914 Bosse-Watanna (see above) and the first to include Korean and Filipino recipes. Over 100 dishes are listed. The authors were apparently college buddies, both 1932 graduates of UCLA with degrees in History and Political Science, who worked at menial jobs during the Depression – the Korean-born Kwon as a grocery store clerk, the Filipino Magpiong as waiter in a café (though, oddly, he lived in Beverly Hills).
