Illustrated from photographs. 9¼x7, half linen and red cloth, gilt-lettered spine label, gilt vignette on front cover; glassine jacket. First Edition. No. 392 of 950 copies.

Signed and inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper: "Russell Annabel / Goose Creek, Alaska / October 1, 1938", above the bookplate of Robert Patterson IV. Very nice copy, and with the contemporary inscription by the author in Alaska, which is the setting for these hunting and fishing stories.
