First edition of one of the great all-time fantasies, wonderfully embellished by the art of Boris Artzebasheff. A shorter version of this novel appeared in the October, 1941 issue of "Unknown Worlds." A "333" title.

Condition:

Jacket spine panel darkened, ends chipped, chips at flaps, some cellotape repairs to verso; volume leaned with some dampstain to covers, scattered few spots internally and to fore-edge; still good or better.
