Run of this scarce little forum for science fiction and fantasy, touted by the Science Fiction News of October, 1950, as offering "the top articles in the S-F field, bar none" (this after only 9 issues of Rhodomagnetic had been produced). The present run includes whole numbers 2, 4, 5, 14, and 16-23, with two copies of issue 23. There was a ten-year hiatus in publication, from 1952 to 1962. Among the important articles and fiction in this run are: "Pseudonyms in Fantasy Fiction" by Anthony Boucher; "The Perils of Completism" by Robert Silverberg; "Rocket to the Morgue Revisited" by Anthony Boucher; "Bradburians by Mr. Boucher and Mr. Bradbury"; and others, including contributions by Poul Anderson, Jack Vance, Fred Brown, John W. Campbell, Horace L. Gold, etc. The Elves' gave an honorary award to S-F writers overlooked by the other awards. The first two recipients were to Ray Bradbury and George Pal. Others included Hal Clement and James Schmitz.
