"One of the finest chromolithographed folios... some of the plates of the wedding presents attain perhaps the highest point of faithful representation yet achieved by chromolithography" (VBD, p. 132). This edition has the mounted portrait plates of the future Edward VII and his consort, Alexandra (then Princess of Denmark), in color, rather than in black and white and with all edges gilt rather than marbled.
