Rare in jacket. This book is Gruelle's tribute to the character created by James Whitcomb Riley. No later printing statement on copyright page.

Condition:

Jacket spine panel faded and chipped at head with small loss, small chips to back panel and front flap corner, some closed tears with associated creases, tape repairs to verso; volume spine head neatly repaired; near fine in very good jacket.
