33 lines, on both sides of Hyannisport, Massachusetts, letterhead, though dated Hotel Bellevue, Boston, Mass. With envelope, with Hyannis Port postmark, with typed address to Thurber in Gross Pointe Michigan.

Following up on the preceding letter, regarding the Class Report for the Harvard class of 1940, and the expenses it will accrue, "...I appreciate what you siad [sic] about theadvisability [sic] of leaving the money invested in War Bonds, but I think in this case we should use the money to pay for this report... The cost averaged about $1,000.00. After classes have been out for a few years the Reports are paid for by subscription. This year, however, most fellows are pretty broke and their costs are high..." Signed Jack.
