North and South America on a rather unusual projection, with longitude at a slight angle. In California, or "Neu Albion," San Francisco is not shown, but "Drakeshaven od de la Bodega" is, also "Monberey," C. Mendocino, etc. The American West is named Quivira, and the Oregon River flows from the ill-defined Rocky Mountains to the Pacific, with its outlet undetermined; farther north and west, the coastline of Alaska is only speculatively defined.
