Contains the author's Gourmet's Choice of 31 favorite courses, 1-10 scale of course ratings, directory of American courses, directory of overseas courses and his Gazetteer of "Eclectic Eighteens." The true first published appearance; there is also an edition published two years later by The Sleeping Bear Press, which was produced in a much larger print run. An increasing scarce and sought after modern golf title, prices of which keep climbing higher every year. Doak's golf courses are really very popular today, including his recent collaboration work with Jack Nicklaus for the Sebonack Golf Club in Southampton, New York as well as course work in San Francisco, etc.
