Italian printing of the Latin edition edited by William Whiston. A beautifully printed edition on good paper with remarkable hand-drawn geometical figures in the margins of nearly every page. These superbly executed figures illustrate the numerous theorems of Euclid and Achimedes, and while it cannot be verified that they were employed in a subsequent edition, the exceptional uniform quality of the figures makes then seem more than just the notes of a student in geometry.
