Penciled sketch on paper. Portrait approximately 8¼x7"; handsomely displayed inside a one-inch deep frame with carved designs and golden color trim, expertly matted and under glass (15½x14½" overall).

Signed and dated 1950 by Albert Einstein (1879-1955) and signed by the well-known Indian artist "Swamy," both below the portrait. Well-executed rendering of the great scientist / philosopher's head and shoulders, in a wise but weary expression. Not examined outside of frame.
