Description:

53 volumes. Illustrated with engraved and etched plats by various artists; printed tissue guards. 8¼x5¾, ¾ gilt-ruled dark blue levant morocco & cloth, spines tooled in gilt, raised bands, marbled endpapers, top edges gilt. No. 321 of 1000 sets.

Condition:

Fading to spines, at times irregular, some minor scuffing to bands and joints, a few spine ends slightly chipped, endpaper margins darkened from binding leather; very good or better, an attractive set.
