Author’s first novel, published only two years earlier. Considering Greene’s long and at times difficult relationship with France, an auspicious debut in its scarcest limitation. This is a special limitation of only 10 copies, printed on the same paper as limited edition of 75 copies. Publisher also issued another edition of 1350 copies on different paper.
