First edition of one of Burton's scarcer titles; copies in good condition are extremely hard to fine, as the book was poorly bound by the publisher in his haste to rush the book into print. Richard and Isabel Burton were undergoing financial difficulties at the time, and pressured John Tinsley into advancing the publication date. Penzer pp. 88-89.
