A true relic of the Old West, the Dutch oven used by legendary frontierswoman Calamity Jane (Martha Jane Cannary-Burke), as she cooked her meals over the campfire on the Great Plains. The oven was on display for many years at the Stagecoach Museum in Shakopee, Minnesota, run by Ozzie Klavestad and noted for the collection of guns that once belonged to such notables as Buffalo Bi9ll and Annie Oakley. A letter of provenance from 1992, signed by M. Adamson, noting that the oven was purchased from the museum in 1780 by J. Adamson, is present.
