[15], 436 pp. Illustrated with a frontispiece portrait of Frost from a photograph by Doris Ulmann and a terra cotta woodcut design on the title page. 8vo. Gilt-decorated and lettered tan cloth with maroon colored sections, top edge red. First Edition, Review Copy.

Signed by Robert Frost dated 1939 in black ink on the blank preliminary leaf. With publisher's review slip mounted on the front pastedown (showing publication date of February 16, 1939).

Condition:

Mild darkening to spine and edges, ends a bit frayed, corners bumped, some finger-soiling, slight lean; rear hinge cracking; else good or better.
